Remember Who You Are
Reclaim is where you meet the woman underneath β who she was before the fire, and who she's becoming now. It's about reconnecting to your voice, your preferences, your opinions, all the small honest things you stopped saying out loud somewhere along the way.
Once a day, state one small, honest preference β out loud or in writing β even about something tiny: what you actually want for dinner, what you really think of a show, whether you'd rather stay in tonight. You're rebuilding the muscle of having, and voicing, an opinion.
Find a photo, journal entry, or memory of yourself from before your hardest chapter. Write down three things you notice: her energy, what she loved, how she carried herself. Ask which of those things is still true.
Write down five things you've been saying yes to that you actually mean to say no to. Say no to one of them this week.
Spend two hours alone doing something purely for your own enjoyment, chosen with no one else's preferences in the room.
Belonging to yourself before you belong anywhere else.
Reconnecting to curiosity and creative identity.
A memoir of reclaiming voice and purpose against extraordinary odds.
What did you love before you learned to make yourself smaller?
Somewhere in that answer is a gift you've been sitting on. Name it β even if you have no idea yet what to do with it.
